Report: Dario Saric not working out for teams ahead of NBA draft
Well, here's a bit of an oddity: Croatian forward prospect Dario Saric, pegged to go perhaps as high as No. 6 or fall out of the lottery altogether, will not be working out for teams ahead of the June 26 NBA draft.
Croatian NBA prospect Dario Saric, I'm told, has zero workouts scheduled ahead of the draft.

While this has some precedent among international prospects, it's a risky play, especially given how much uncertainty has surrounded Saric throughout the pre-draft process.
Teams are surely tantalized by his incredible size and skill on the wing, and his performance in the Adriatic League playoffs was a few levels beyond simply noteworthy. But without working the player out and, more importantly, getting to meet him, teams may balk at the risk of the unknown (and that he'll stay in Europe for longer than teams would prefer).
There's a chance, however, that Saric has a promise from a team at a lofty position and sees no need to risk injury in workouts.
