Nets PF Kirilenko targets midweek return, C Garnett plans to return in two weeks
The injury-riddled Brooklyn Nets are slowly returning to full health.
#Nets say Andrei Kirilenko is targeting a return midweek and Kevin Garnett is targeting one of #Nets games in Florida next week.

Having a healthy Kirilenko and Garnett on the roster would significantly bolsters the Nets' defense. A healthy Kevin Garnett will likely reclaim his starting center position from the less mobile Andrey Blatche, who has started in his absence. Andrei Kirilenko is a crafty defender who is able to defend multiple positions.
As of Sunday, the Nets are fifth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 38-33. They sit 2.5 games back of the Atlantic Division leading Toronto Raptors, and 1.5 games back of Chicago for fourth place. Their magic number to clinch a playoff spot is 2, wherein any combination of Nets wins, or Knicks losses will count towards securing a place in the postseason.
