Durant out for Game 4 vs. Lakers
Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant has been ruled out for Sunday's Game 4 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Durant has a bone bruise in his sprained ankle and hasn't been cleared to play despite receiving around-the-clock treatment, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Durant came into the Rockets facility this morning for his rehab with the team’s medical staff and participated in film session and meetings with teammates. The 37-year-old missed Games 1 and 3 of the series. He played over 40 minutes during Houston's Game 2 loss, scoring 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting.
The Lakers enter Sunday's contest with a commanding 3-0 series lead.
