Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards won't return to Saturday's Game 4 clash against the Denver Nuggets after suffering a left knee injury in the second quarter.

Edwards landed awkwardly after contesting Cameron Johnson's driving attempt and had to be assisted off the court.

The four-time All-Star was already managing a right knee injury that sidelined him for 11 of the team's last 14 regular-season games.

Edwards was struggling prior to exiting Game 4, tallying just five points on 1-of-8 shooting in 18 minutes.

Minnesota also lost Donte DiVincenzo to a season-ending torn right Achilles tendon just over a minute into the matchup, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The Villanova product slipped as he attempted to chase down a loose ball and immediately clutched his right lower leg.

DiVincenzo called for help and was promptly ruled out for the remainder of the game. He was later seen exiting the Target Center in a wheelchair with a boot around his right leg.

DiVincenzo was having an excellent series on both ends of the floor, averaging 14.3 points on 51.6% shooting to go along with five boards, five assists, and 2.3 steals.
