Hawks cut Royal Ivey, one more cut to come
The Atlanta Hawks made their first of at least two cuts on Friday, waiving veteran guard Royal Ivey.

Atlanta has until Monday to get the roster to 15 or fewer. Cartier Martin and Eric Dawson, the remaining camp invites, are the most likely to be released.
Ivey was originally a 2004 second round pick of the Hawks and played with the team for three seasons. Now 31, Ivey has appeared in 490 NBA games averaging 3.3 points.
