The San Antonio Spurs nabbed Arizona forward Carter Bryant with the 14th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

One of the biggest risers in the NBA draft process, Bryant spent one season with the Wildcats. His playing time gradually increased as the campaign went on, but he mainly came off the bench while averaging 19.3 minutes per game. However, Bryant was still able to average one block and almost one steal per contest.

Bryant flashed outstanding defensive awareness, showing tons of effort and activity to disrupt opponents on the perimeter. At the other end, the 19-year-old was a dependable 3-point threat, primarily on catch-and-shoot attempts. He also helped Arizona's scoring output with off-ball cutting.

NBA comparison: Trevor Ariza. Over the course of 18 seasons, Ariza was able to mold his raw game and become the prototypical 3-and-D wing that NBA teams are always looking for. The versatile forward won a title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and then played a pivotal role in the Houston Rockets' success in the mid-2010s. With the right team, Bryant can take his time to develop into the ideal role player for today's game.
