Denver Nuggets head coach David Adelman praised Aaron Gordon's effort for playing through a hamstring strain in the team's 125-93 Game 7 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"Gordon is incredible," Adelman said, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. "What he played with today, I don't know many people that would even attempt to go run up and down ... one of the most incredible things I've ever seen."

Gordon recorded eight points and 11 rebounds in 25 minutes Sunday after being given the green light following the pregame warmup.

The injury, which occurred during the Nuggets' Game 6 win, is a Grade 2 strain and will need several weeks to heal, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets in scoring with 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Christian Braun added 19 points, while Jamal Murray contributed 13.

Gordon was a key part of the Nuggets' playoff run, averaging 16.2 points, 7.6 boards, and 2.7 assists across 14 appearances. The 6-foot-8 forward had his share of clutch moments in this postseason, including a game-winning triple against the Thunder in the series opener.

Denver was scoring 28 more points per 100 possessions with Gordon on the floor in the playoffs entering Game 7.
