Report: Magic's McClung commits to Slam Dunk contest, seeking 3-peat
Orlando Magic guard Mac McClung committed to compete in the 2025 NBA Slam Dunk contest at All-Star Weekend, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
McClung won the last two Slam Dunk contests and will look to become the first player to win three straight. Nate Robinson holds the record for most dunk contest wins at three but didn't earn them consecutively.
The 26-year-old joins Milwaukee Bucks wing Andre Jackson Jr., Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis, and San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle for this year's event.
McClung stands at 6-foot-2 but recorded a 43.5-inch vertical leap at the 2021 combine. He won the 2024 Slam Dunk contest by jumping over 7-foot-1 Shaquille O'Neal to score a perfect 50.

This year's dunk contest is scheduled for Feb. 15 in San Francisco.
