Bulls assistant in late-game fracas with Jazz's Collins
Chicago Bulls assistant coach Chris Fleming got into a shoving match with Utah Jazz forward John Collins late in his team's 119-117 victory on Wednesday night, leading to a handful of technical fouls.
The incident began when the Jazz aggressively fouled Bulls star DeMar DeRozan in an effort to extend the game while trailing late. DeRozan took exception to the play, which happened right in front of the Bulls' bench and led to some back-and-forth from the teams.
With both clubs jawing, Fleming seemingly put a hand on Collins, and Collins pushed Fleming back.

The refs determined that there were technicals on Collins, Fleming, and Bulls forward Torrey Craig, who wasn't dressed for the game. As a result, the Jazz were awarded a free throw, which tied the game at 117. DeRozan then made his two attempts from the original foul to seal the victory.
After the game, Collins told reporters, including The Athletic's Darnell Mayberry, that he got shoved "for no reason," and he was protecting himself.
