The Boston Celtics signed forward Svi Mykhailiuk to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday.
Mykhailiuk began the 2022-23 campaign with the New York Knicks and finished it with the Charlotte Hornets after being included in a four-team trade.
The 26-year-old had a solid showing down the stretch for the Hornets, averaging 10.6 points and shooting 40.4% from deep over 19 appearances.
While Boston finished second in the NBA last season with 16 triples per game, it lost some of that outside shooting in the offseason with the departures of Marcus Smart, Grant Williams, and Mike Muscala.
Mykhailiuk also provides some depth on the wing behind franchise cornerstones Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
