LeBron: Lakers have to be 'even more on edge' at home
The Los Angeles Lakers are unbeaten at home during this year's playoffs, but LeBron James urged his team to remain focused as it returns to Crypto.com Arena down 0-2 in the Western Conference finals.
"We still got to play with the same desperation as we did tonight," James said following the Lakers' 108-103 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night.
He added, "We can't go into any postseason game with comfort just because you either haven't lost at home or you're going back home. … You got to be even more on edge when you get home. So we got to understand that going back and being down 0-2, there's no reason for us to get comfortable."
The Lakers are 7-0 at home this postseason, including the play-in tournament, compared to 2-6 on the road. The Nuggets, meanwhile, are 8-0 at home and 2-3 on the road.
Game 3 of the Western Conference finals is scheduled for Saturday.
