Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson made NBA history again during Friday's 116-101 win over the Houston Rockets, becoming the first player to drill at least 12 triples on multiple occasions in one season.

Thompson's performance is the latest in a career filled with notable achievements, and the five-time All-Star made it clear that he isn't finished yet.

"I did something that no one else has ever done before ... I looked at Steph immediately when I did it because, I mean, that man's got all the records, so it's fun to push the game forward with him," Thompson told reporters postgame. "I'm still so hungry to be great. I'll never be satisfied."

Both of Thompson's 12-triple games have come in February. He made 12-of-17 attempts from deep as part of a 42-point night Friday.

Thompson still holds the NBA single-game record for threes, draining 14 3-pointers against the Chicago Bulls in October 2018. The four-time NBA champ then sustained a pair of season-ending injuries, leading many to wonder if he'd recapture his old form.

However, Thompson said he never lost faith in his abilities.

"I'm being myself, and I was capable of these things in the past, and as long as my wrist still works, my feet work, I'll forever be able to shoot the rock," Thompson said, according to ESPN's Kendra Andrews.
