The Oklahoma City Thunder are trading big man Mike Muscala to the Boston Celtics for Justin Jackson and two second-round picks, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Muscala, 31, is averaging 6.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 43 games for the Thunder this season, his fourth with the franchise. The 6-foot-10 forward is a threat from deep, shooting 39.4% from distance in 2022-23 and 37.9% on his career. He was a career-best 42.9% on 3-pointers last season, converting 42.9% of his 3.8 attempts per game.
Jackson cracked the Celtics' roster following an impressive Summer League performance this past offseason. He failed to find a consistent role in Boston's rotation, however, registering just 4.7 minutes per game through 23 appearances.
