Dallas Mavericks forward Maxi Kleber will be out indefinitely after suffering a torn hamstring in practice on Tuesday, the team announced.
While the Mavericks did not provide a timetable for his return, Kleber is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Kleber was sidelined for Dallas' 105-90 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. He was listed as out with a right knee sprain at the time.
On the year, the German national is averaging 6.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 25.6 minutes a night for the 14-14 Mavericks. His career 36% mark from beyond the arc helps provide the team with offensive spacing next to superstar Luka Doncic.
