Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela sustained a hyperextended right knee in the club's 107-101 comeback victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Hawks announced.

An MRI is scheduled for Saturday. The Hawks are optimistic Capela hasn't suffered significant damage to his knee, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Cavs rookie Evan Mobley fell into Capela's leg after being fouled by the Hawks big man late in the second quarter of Friday's play-in tournament contest.

Capela remained on the floor for several moments before being assisted off the court by his teammates. He had seven points and eight boards at the time of his exit.

Backup big man Onyeka Okongwu started in Capela's place to begin the second half.

Capela entered Friday's contest averaging 11.1 points, 11.9 boards, and 1.3 blocks. He ranks second in the Association in total rebound percentage (23.5%) and seventh in field-goal percentage (61.3%).
