Detroit Pistons wing Hamidou Diallo will miss the rest of the 2021-22 campaign with a left index finger avulsion fracture, the team announced Friday.
Diallo suffered the injury in the Pistons' March 9 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
The fourth-year pro averaged 11 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this season. He started in 29 of his 59 appearances, logging just under 22 minutes a night.
The Pistons have a club option to retain Diallo at $5.2 million for 2022-23.
