Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker scored a playoff career-low 10 points on 3-of-14 shooting in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday.

It was easily Booker's worst performance during his first postseason run, but Deandre Ayton is confident the two-time All-Star will bounce back.

"He gets pretty scary after (a bad game)," Ayton told reporters Tuesday, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin. "Just knowing his mentality and knowing that games like that don't really slow him down. We know it was just one of those games, but I know he'll step up and as a team we'll step up as well."

Booker has demonstrated great resiliency throughout the playoffs.

He notched 30 points, seven boards, and five assists in Game 5 of the Suns' opening-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers after going 5-of-14 shooting and turning the ball over five times in the previous contest.

Booker similarly answered the call in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals against the Los Angeles Clippers, posting 25 points two nights after going 5-of-21 from the field.

"To me, he's got that same look in his eyes every game, no matter if he played good or played bad or if he played outstanding," said Suns reserve Cameron Payne. "He's just got that same demeanor, just to go kill no matter what."
