Phoenix Suns big man Dario Saric exited Game 1 of the NBA Finals after suffering a right knee injury in the first quarter.
The 27-year-old played just two minutes, missing his only field-goal attempt and corralling a rebound before needing assistance back to the Suns' locker room at the 1:43 mark of the opening frame.
The Suns held on to win 118-105 in Saric's absence.
Saric averaged 8.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 17.4 minutes per game during the regular season, predominantly off the Suns' bench.
However, with Suns head coach Monty Williams shortening his rotation, the Croatian has been limited to just over 11 minutes per game in the playoffs entering the Finals.
