Clippers' Beverley suspended 1 game for shoving Paul in back
The NBA has suspended Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley one game without pay for shoving Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul from behind in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals Wednesday.
Beverley will serve the suspension during the first contest he's "eligible to play" next season.
After the Clippers called a timeout with the Suns up 26 and 5:49 remaining, Beverley pushed Paul to the floor as the latter was walking toward his bench. Beverley was then ejected from the game.

Beverley later apologized to Paul for the shove.
