Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell will miss the Game 1 tilt versus the eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies due to his sprained right ankle, the team announced.

Mitchell has been sidelined since April 16, and the Jazz have gone 10-6 during his current absence.

The two-time All-Star averaged 26.4 points and 5.2 assists per game while shooting 38.6% from the 3-point line - all career highs - in 53 appearances.

Mitchell's improved offensive contributions helped pace Utah to a league-best 52-20 record.
