The Charlotte Hornets listed forward Miles Bridges as out due to health and safety protocols, the team announced Tuesday.

Bridges, who leads the Hornets with 64 appearances this season, is now in quarantine and is expected to miss multiple games, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

In 29 minutes a night, the third-year player has put up 12.4 points on a sparkling effective field-goal rate of 59.9%, while adding 6.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

The Hornets presently sit eighth in the Eastern Conference standings, putting the team on track for a play-in game versus the seventh-ranked Boston Celtics if the current standings stand pat.

With just eight games left on their schedule, Charlotte holds a one-game lead over the ninth-seeded Indiana Pacers, and are 1.5 games ahead of the 10th-seeded Washington Wizards.
