Steph Curry passes Reggie Miller for 2nd all time in made 3-pointers

Stephen Curry is now one step from claiming his spot atop the NBA's 3-point summit.

With his fourth triple on Saturday against the Utah Jazz, the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter surpassed Indiana Pacers icon Reggie Miller for second on the NBA's all-time list for made 3-pointers.

The 32-year-old made the landmark triple early in the third quarter of Saturday's contest. He finished with 24 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in the Warriors' 127-108 loss to the Jazz.

Curry's career average of 3.6 made threes per contest means the 32-year-old is on pace to match Ray Allen's record in approximately 114 games.

Curry was the fastest in league history to make 2,000 3-pointers, doing so in 227 fewer games than previous record-holder Allen.

Fittingly, Curry has set the NBA record for 3-pointers made in a season on three occasions, with his mark from the 2015-16 campaign (402) the current league standard.

The two-time MVP also holds the records for most seasons leading the league in 3-pointers (five) and most consecutive games with at least one made three (157). He's second only to teammate Klay Thompson (14) for made threes in a contest with 13.
