3 members of Raptors organization test positive for COVID-19
The Toronto Raptors announced Monday that three members of the organization tested positive for COVID-19 and are now self-isolating.
So far, no one else in the organization has tested positive after follow-up testing and contact tracing.
The team did not specify whether the positive results came from players, staff, or executives. Head coach Nick Nurse said that all players were available in practice Sunday, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg.
After not registering a single positive test while inside the Orlando bubble last season, the NBA announced Wednesday that 48 of 546 players around the league received positive results from a round of testing in the last week of November.
The Raptors are currently in Tampa preparing for the 2020-21 season. The team has temporarily relocated to Florida after the Canadian federal government rejected its proposal to play in Toronto due to COVID-19 restrictions.
