Rodney Hood has signed a two-year, $21 million contract to remain with the Portland Trail Blazers after opting-out out of his $6-million option earlier this week, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The second year of the deal is non-guaranteed, according to Wojnarowski.
The Trail Blazers originally acquired Hood in February of the 2018-19 campaign. The 28-year-old was off to a good start during his first full campaign with Portland but tore his Achilles tendon in mid-December, ending his season.
Hood averaged 11 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while averaging 29.5 minutes per game in just 21 games. He also shot 49.3% from beyond the arc.
