Undrafted guard Karim Mane signs deal with Magic
Undrafted Vanier College guard Karim Mane has signed with the Orlando Magic, he announced on social media Friday.
The deal is a two-way contract, a source told The Athletic's Blake Murphy.
The Canadian put himself on the NBA radar with a strong showing at last year's FIBA U19 World Cup, averaging 11.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists during the tournament.
Mane, a five-star 2020 recruit, opted to declare for the draft despite interest from the likes of Michigan State and Memphis.
Although the 20-year-old only recently graduated from high school, Mane is eligible for the 2020 NBA Draft as an international player who satisfies the league's age requirement.
