The Milwaukee Bucks forward told ESPN's Marc J. Spears after Tuesday's Game 5 loss to the Miami Heat that he's retiring from the NBA.
"I've been very blessed," the 34-year-old said. "God has been very, very good to me."
The 15-year veteran joined the Bucks in February after taking a buyout from the Charlotte Hornets. The No. 2 pick in the 2005 draft played 1,072 games with the Bucks, Hornets, Utah Jazz, and Atlanta Hawks, averaging 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds.
Williams was named to the 2005-06 All-NBA Rookie second team and won an NCAA championship with North Carolina the year before.
