A lawsuit filed against Zion Williamson could end up involving Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Willie Gary and Alvin Pittman, the lawyers for Williamson's former marketing agent, Gina Ford, indicate that they will attempt to depose the iconic Blue Devils bench boss as part of Ford's ongoing $100-million suit against the current New Orleans Pelicans star.

"We are leaving no stones unturned, if you get my message," Gary told Sports Illustrated's Pat Forde.

Ford's lawsuit is requesting that Williamson admit he, his mother, and his stepfather received "money, benefits, favors, or other things of value" in order to agree to sign with Duke and wear Nike or Adidas apparel.

Williamson sued Ford and her marketing agency, Prime Sports Marketing, in June 2019. The lawsuit aimed to terminate their agreement, arguing that it was unlawful under North Carolina's Uniform Athlete Agents Act because the agency wasn't certified by the National Basketball Players Association or registered in North Carolina or Florida.

Ford then filed her suit in response, alleging that Williamson breached their five-year contract. Williamson's current professional representation, Creative Artists Agency, is also named as a defendant in Ford's lawsuit.

Pittman and Gary said they intend to prove through the discovery process that Williamson was receiving impermissible benefits from Duke. If true, it would retroactively revoke his NCAA student-athlete eligibility, removing him from the protection of the Uniform Athlete Agents Act.

"We are setting depositions as we speak," Pittman said. "We can assure you that we are about to hit the road of discovery like you wouldn't believe."
