Nets' Chandler says building manager asked him to avoid common areas
Warning: Story contains coarse language
Brooklyn Nets forward Wilson Chandler revealed Wednesday that his building manager requested he refrain from entering his residence's common areas due to concerns surrounding the Nets' positive COVID-19 tests.
Chandler outlined the conversation in a series of tweets, and his messages conveyed obvious frustration over the request.
Building manager called me saying “Oh, I seen Nets players had the virus. We would like to know your status. And if you could possibly stay out of the lobby etc. We can’t afford to lose our staff.”

Didn’t even ask was I ok, one. And two, she didn’t ask me if I had been tested and if it was negative or positive. Fuck this building man. I’m going home.

The Nets announced Tuesday that four players on the team had tested positive for the coronavirus. Kevin Durant confirmed he was one of the four to receive a positive result, though he added he has not shown symptoms.
The Los Angeles Lakers, who faced the Nets as recently as March 10, administered tests Wednesday following Brooklyn's announcement, sources told ESPN's Dave McMenamin. Those tests were reportedly administered only to players.
