Atlanta Hawks guard Kevin Huerter will miss at least one game after leaving Tuesday's win over the Denver Nuggets with an injury to his left shoulder, the team announced Wednesday.

"Huerter will return to Atlanta, where team physicians will assess the results of the MRI," the Hawks added.

The 21-year-old underwent an X-ray on Tuesday, which was negative, the Hawks announced.

Atlanta is in the midst of a five-game West Coast road trip, which wraps up Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The second-year shooting guard is averaging 9.3 points on 38.6% 3-point shooting, near-identical numbers to his rookie output.
