Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons is "doubtful" to compete for Australia at this summer's FIBA World Cup, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 22-year-old is more likely to spend his offseason preparing for the upcoming NBA campaign, Wojnarowski notes.
Simmons' absence would be a huge loss for the Aussies and likely put playmaking responsibilities on the shoulders of Cleveland Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova.
