The Golden State Warriors may have played their final game at Oracle Arena on Friday, and Kevin Durant's chapter in the Bay Area could be finished, too.

"Durant just isn't ready," ESPN's Brian Windhorst said postgame on Sportscenter. "His body is not ready. The trainers don't believe it, he doesn't believe it.

"He tried to do some stuff at practice yesterday. It didn't work. It was frustration all around."

The Warriors superstar has been sidelined since suffering a calf strain in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets.

Head coach Steve Kerr has remained hopeful about Durant's health throughout The Finals but is now reportedly growing pessimistic regarding the chances of his return.

"Steve Kerr was really clipped about it," Windhorst said. "And he basically said today, 'I'm not going to give you any more updates on Durant. I'm just going to tell you whether he's playing or not.' He's frustrated about it, too."

Durant was leading all postseason scorers with 34.2 points per game on 51.3 percent shooting before his injury.

He's expected to opt out of his $31.5-million player option at season's end and become an unrestricted free agent.
