The Los Angeles Clippers acquired Ivica Zubac and Michael Beasley from the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday in exchange for Mike Muscala, the teams announced.

Muscala is joining his second team in as many days after being dealt to the Clippers in the Tobias Harris blockbuster deal. The 27-year-old provides the Lakers with another outside shooter.

The move opens up a roster spot for the Lakers as the club evaluates the buyout market, with Carmelo Anthony among the considerations, league sources told Wojnarowski.

Beasley is expected to be waived by the Clippers, league sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Zubac has thrived in his third season in the NBA, averaging a career-high 8.5 points per contest on 58 percent shooting.

The 21-year-old is a restricted free agent this summer and the Clippers have until the end of June to extend a $1.9-million qualifying offer, notes ESPN's Bobby Marks. Zubac will have Bird rights as a free agent.

“I like them," said head coach Doc Rivers, according to The Athletic's Jovan Buha. "Zubac was a big one for us because he can be a future center for us. I talked to him today - very excited. I like all the guys we got.”
