Tyus Jones will be forced to wear a boot for several days after spraining his left ankle during Tuesday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Minnesota Timberwolves' backup point guard will be considered day to day after that, Wojnarowski adds.

Jones limped off the floor after turning his ankle on a drive to the basket. The Minnesota native ranks third on the team in steals.

The injury occurred one day after Jones' younger brother Tre suffered a severe shoulder injury while playing in Duke's loss to Syracuse. Tre is now sidelined indefinitely.
