Raptors' Lowry returns vs. Pacers
The 29-12 Toronto Raptors got their star point guard back Sunday night.
Kyle Lowry returned against the Indiana Pacers after missing the last six games, and 10 of the last 11, with an ailing back.
The 32-year-old was knocked out of action for four games after a hard fall in a 20-point road win over the Golden State Warriors on Dec. 12. Lowry saw the floor for 30 minutes against his hometown Philadelphia 76ers 10 days later but re-aggravated his injury.
He received pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory injections for his lower-back soreness on Dec. 29, but there was no timetable set for his return.
Toronto is 7-4 this season without Lowry, who is averaging 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and a career-best 9.8 assists (second in NBA) in 34.1 minutes per game.
