The Houston Rockets made history on Wednesday night at Toyota Center with an offensive onslaught from behind the arc the likes of which have never been seen before.

Houston converted 26 3-pointers on 55 attempts in a 136-118 victory over the Washington Wizards, beating the previous record of 25 held by the Cleveland Cavaliers for both the regular season (March 3, 2017 vs. Hawks) and postseason (May 4, 2016 vs. Hawks).

The record-breaking trey was sunk by former Rookie of the Year and career 25.4 percent outside shooter Michael Carter-Williams with 30.3 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
