The Houston Rockets intend to sign shooting guard Danuel House, league sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

House, 25, has been a bright spot on Houston's G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Through seven appearances, he's posted 20.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, three assists, and 1.7 steals per game.

It is not clear whether the Rockets are signing House to a main-roster or two-way contract. Gary Clark and Vincent Edwards currently occupy the team's pair of two-way slots, but they can each spend only up to 45 days with the big-league team.

House appeared in 23 NBA games with the Phoenix Suns last season, averaging 6.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 17.5 minutes per outing. His only other NBA action came the year prior when he played 50 seconds in an early-season game with the Washington Wizards.
