Brooklyn Nets forward Kenneth Faried was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana on Sunday, according to 27East's Valerie Gordon.
According to the report, Faried was in the backseat of a vehicle that was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint where officers found over two ounces of marijuana.
The seven-year pro was released on $500 bail.
Faried had spent all seven seasons of his career with the Denver Nuggets but lost his role in the rotation last year. He was traded to the Nets this summer along with Darrell Arthur and two draft picks in exchange for Isaiah Whitehead.
