If you're going to take on Michael Porter Jr. in a game of NBA 2K, be prepared to lose something valuable.

The Denver Nuggets rookie took to Twitter on Tuesday, issuing a challenge to anyone willing to play him for money or, in the case of one fan, expensive sneakers.

Porter won the first game 61-40, leaving the challenger on the hook for $200.

The second challenger, lifelong Nuggets fan Royal Gomez, told Adam Mares of Denver Stiffs he reached out to Porter and said he'd be willing to put his $800 pair of Off-White UNC Jordan 1s on the line.

"I told him on Twitter that I'd be betting the shoes so he knew, but he said he can't even wear them (based on an endorsement deal with Puma) so it was a little pointless to put them up for grabs," Gomez added. "What was strange was he didn't want to bet what the shoes were worth, which is $800, he only wanted to wager $100."

Porter ultimately won that matchup as well.

A third person ended up losing to Porter, but he only collected from two of them, as one ran out of the building to avoid paying him, according to Mares.
