Paul George has committed to re-signing with the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
George announced his intentions on stage at a party in Oklahoma City on Saturday night.
George, who the Thunder acquired in a trade a year ago to the day, was long-rumored to be interested in signing with his hometown Los Angeles Lakers, and even openly talked about that interest during the season.
But despite a relatively disappointing season in which they won 48 games and lost in the first round of the playoffs, the Thunder convinced the All-NBA swingman to stick around.
