Los Angeles Clippers point guard Milos Teodosic will exercise his $6.3-million player option and remain with the team for the 2018-19 season, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

The 31-year-old Serbian posted modest averages of 9.5 points and 4.6 assists in 25.2 minutes per game, but made an impression on North American fans with several highlight passes that he was famous for in EuroLeague.

The Clippers could still trade or waive Teodosic this summer. His contract is only guaranteed for $2.1 million by July 15, and given that the Clippers drafted two guards in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson with lottery picks in this week's draft, Teodosic figures to be a prime trade target.

Teodosic was widely regarded as the best point guard in Europe after six excellent seasons with CSKA Moscow and the Serbian national team.
