The San Antonio Spurs are bringing back their Fiesta colors for their first-round playoff series against the Golden State Warriors.
Each player was presented with a pair of custom sneakers designed by Jake Danklefs to wear during Game 1 on Saturday, according to Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.
The Spurs contacted Danklefs while in New Orleans on Wednesday evening about customizing the sneakers. He typically needs a few weeks to prepare for a project, but with the Spurs short on time, he designed 18 pairs of shoes in just 24 hours.
"I would say this is one of my best projects," Danklefs said.
