Jabari Parker hasn't had the smoothest career with the Milwaukee Bucks, and according to one report, the team almost dealt him before February's NBA trade deadline.

"He came very, very close to being traded," the Racine Journal Times' Gery Woelfel told 105.7 The Fan's Chuck and Winkler on Tuesday. Woelfel added that there is a "slim-to-none" chance Parker will be with the Bucks next season.

Parker, the No. 2 pick in the 2014 draft, and the Bucks failed to reach an agreement on a contract ahead of October's rookie-scale extension deadline. That makes him a restricted free agent this summer, with Milwaukee having the right to match any offer. Woelfel said there has been a split between the power forward and the team for some time now, dating back to former coach Jason Kidd's tenure.

"For a long time, it was obviously the Bucks," Woelfel said. "I'm going back to (Kidd). Kidd was not a fan, and he was rough on Jabari - and his teammates will tell you that."

Kidd was fired Jan. 22, but the other issue with Parker's career has been his inability to stay healthy. He has only appeared in 19 games this season and has missed 145 of a possible 328 NBA contests over four years.

Despite his injury problems - including a twice-torn left ACL - he should fetch plenty of interest on the free-agent market. In 171 games, he's averaged 15.3 points and 5.4 rebounds on 49.3 percent shooting.
