Obama's Sloan appearance kept top secret
Co-founded by Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, the annual MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference has become a destination event not just for sports metrics enthusiasts, but others as well.
This year's event featured a conversation with former U.S. President Barack Obama, a noted basketball fan. Don't hold your breath about seeing video of that appearance - or even reading quotes - however.
Sloan placed very strict social media and reporting guidelines on the Friday appearance, and have threatened to revoke future tickets or credentials if any of the content of the conversation is leaked.

As of Monday, no major leaks have been reported, although Recode's Peter Kafka did note some deleted tweets coming out of the event.
