Brodie's footwear is official.
After Nike revealed in December that it planned to release a signature basketball shoe for Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook in 2018, it took just three days in the new year for the apparel manufacturer to give sneakerheads a first look.
Dubbed the "Why Not Zer0.1" under Nike label Jordan Brand, Westbrook's first signature basketball shoe will prominently boast the expression on the tongue and will release in two colorways. The "Mirror Image" will drop on Jan. 15 in limited qualities, and the black-and-white "2-Way" version will hit stores Feb. 15. Both will retail for $125.
Westbrook is also wearing a special "Player Exclusive" edition on the court Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers to celebrate the unveiling of his new kicks.
Westbrook, who has served as the face of Jordan Brand for the past few years, first signed with the label in 2012. He signed a massive 10-year contract extension with the basketball apparel company in September.
