Dahntay Jones: Curry isn't a top-10 player

Dahntay Jones says he doesn't favor Curry, but is he just trying to curry favor with his patron saints in Cleveland?

The veteran guard/superpest - who's been signed to end-of-season courtesy deals by the Cavaliers in each of the past two campaigns, and had his substantial subsequent fines paid for by LeBron James - espoused some dubious views on longtime Cavs nemesis Steph Curry last week.

"People get mad at me because I don't declare him a top-10 player in the NBA," Jones told Dave Portnoy in a podcast last week, as transcribed by NBC's Dan Feldman.

Jones made clear, though, that he feels the two-time MVP is right on the bubble.

"I've got him on the outside - like 11, 12."

On top of James, Jones listed Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, John Wall, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Chris Paul, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Anthony Davis ahead of Curry.
