The whole band is getting back together.

The Golden State Warriors have reached an agreement to re-sign center JaVale McGee, sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

McGee reportedly signed a one-year deal, but the financial terms have yet to be announced. The Warriors have little more than the veteran's minimum available for the 29-year-old.

McGee posted a strong comeback campaign as the third-string center for the championship-winning Warriors last year. He overcame several injury-plagued seasons to make 77 appearances, and was popular among his teammates.

The journeyman had hoped to secure a larger deal, but the market was evidently dry. McGee always wanted to return to the Warriors, but he was reportedly unhappy with the lack of money and opportunity floated his way, as Golden State returned Zaza Pachulia and David West who remain ahead of him in the depth chart.

McGee proved to be immensely effective in limited doses last season as a lob threat anchoring the Warriors' shooters. He averaged 6.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks in just 9.6 minutes per game.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings also showed interest in him this summer.
