Derrick Rose may soon find himself a new home.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will meet with the unrestricted free-agent point guard Monday to discuss a one-year, $2.1-million minimum deal, league sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 28-year-old reportedly met with the Los Angeles Lakers last week, but prefers to sign with Cleveland in hopes of re-establishing his value for next offseason.

The decision to meet with Rose comes just days after reports surfaced that Kyrie Irving had asked to be traded. Cleveland has received multiple trade offers for the four-time All-Star, but isn't close to making a deal.

Rose averaged 18 points, 4.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.7 steals on 47.1 percent shooting during his lone season with the New York Knicks.
