The Atlanta Hawks appear to have found themselves a new starting center.

Atlanta has agreed to a contract with unrestricted free agent Dewayne Dedmon, league sources tell The Vertical's Shams Charania. The deal is worth $14 million over two years, with a player option in the second season, according to Sam Amick of USA TODAY Sports.

The 27-year-old is coming off a strong season with the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 5.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks in just 17.5 minutes per game.

Atlanta is in need of frontcourt help with Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard both leaving this summer. While limited offensively, Dedmon is a strong rebounder and rim-protector, and should see plenty of action during the upcoming season.
