High-flyer JaVale McGee could be on his way to Lob City.

The unrestricted free agent is scheduled to meet with the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The source indicated that McGee, who won his first championship as a member of the Golden State Warriors this past season, remains engaged in talks to return to the Bay Area.

The 29-year-old center signed with the Dubs last offseason on a one-year deal worth $1.4 million. In addition to serving as a valuable member on a title-winning team, he attained his goal of shedding his title as the king of "Shaqtin' a Fool."

McGee excelled in his role as a rim-running big man who can finish in the paint under Steve Kerr, putting up the most efficient numbers of his nine-year career in a limited role off the bench. He averaged 6.1 points on 65.2 percent shooting to go along with 3.2 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over just under 10 minutes per game for the league's best team.

A move to the Clippers would represent McGee's sixth different club.

Los Angeles has been active so far this summer, having traded away its best player in Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets. More recently, the Clips acquired Denver Nuggets wing Danilo Gallinari. They've also been linked to free-agent guards Derrick Rose and Jonathon Simmons.
