LeBron has no regrets about passing to Korver late in Game 3

LeBron James may be largely considered the best player in the NBA, but he has zero issue with giving his teammates the opportunity to shine with the game on the line.

The four-time MVP told reporters Thursday that he has no regrets about passing to Kyle Korver with under a minute remaining in Game 3 instead of attacking the basket and trying to win the game himself.

"If I could have the play over again, I would come off a screen situation. Draymond (Green) would switch on me with five fouls," LeBron told ESPN's Brian Windhorst. "I would get him leaning. I would drive left. I would see (Kevin Durant) step up. I would see Stephen Curry drop on Kevin (Love). And I would see Kyle Korver in the corner, one of the greatest 3-point shooters in this league's history, and give him an opportunity in the short corner.

"I would do the same exact thing."

Korver would go on to miss the wide-open look, leading Kevin Durant to scoop up the loose rebound and nail a dagger three just seconds later.

While Korver may have the support of his All-NBA teammate, he admits that he'll have a hard time forgetting about the missed opportunity.

"I'm going to be thinking about that miss for a long time," he said.

Game 4 tips off Friday at Quicken Loans Arena.
